Destiny, fate: Predetermined course of events.
Do you believe in fate? I would want to believe that what happened was just a dream; not reality. The disappointment in myself and all the 'what if only...' clouded my mind as you turned around.
At times like this, I wish I was an engineer; an inventor even. I'd want to invent a time machine where I could return to yesterday.
