Light within

You know those times when you encounter something good, maybe for yourself or for others, yet it fades away immediately when your mind stumbles unto an abysses, kind of like an adept ninja stealing the treasure trove and leaving daggers behind. Somehow I feel guilty and ashamed to think like that-jealous, when I don't even have a right to be. The distance seems further now, I wonder when I can catch up.

Then again I wonder: why do i subject myself to misery by entertaining these thoughts.
